ABOUT SUMMIT LODGE

At Summit Lodge we make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people, with the aim of enabling them to become as independent as they can, while supporting them as individuals.

We focus on recognising and developing strengths and skills in our service users. We value people, both our service users and our staff, seeing them in context and always treating them with the utmost respect for their wishes and feelings. We confront discrimination, while promoting independence and choice.

Our values

Excellence
We are committed to excellence in everything we do. The success of our organisation and, crucially, the successes and outcomes of the people who use our services, depends on our ability to deliver consistently excellent services that exceed expectations.

Aspiration
We are aspirational – for our customers, staff and organisation. We aim high, seek out opportunities and do not shy away from the challenges we face. We believe in identifying, nurturing and developing potential and creating a culture of recognition and celebration across the organisation.

Partnership
We know our organisation is stronger when we work in partnership with stakeholders, commissioners and – crucially – clients. Partnership working informs and influences everything we do.

Trust
We are an organisation with a strong social purpose. We aim to be trusted by our commissioners and funders to deliver the services we promise, and by our clients to deliver safe and consistently high-quality services. We behave at all times with integrity and transparency.

Equality and diversity
The key principles of equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded in everything we do. We believe everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of age, race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

Staff personal development
Our people are our most valuable asset. We want to empower them to achieve excellence in everything they do, so that they can consistently deliver positive outcomes for our clients. That's why we're committed to helping all our team members develop their knowledge and skills, as well as providing a supportive working environment.

We provide a range of professional development opportunities, including training courses, mentoring and reflective practice. Group systemic supervision sessions provide a dynamic forum in which team members can improve their personal effectiveness by connecting with colleagues to pool knowledge, skills and experience.
